How the Down Draft Works:
The Down Draft, Technocure's top of the line spray
booth features superior vertical down draft airflow dynamics. The heated Air
MakeUp Unit (AMU) forces fresh air in from outside the shop, pressurizing the plenum on top of the
booth. The air enters the booth cabin through the ceiling filters. The filtered air then moves down vertically
enveloping the vehicle then exits the booth through the exhaust filters in the floor. The exhaust filters are
available in either an in-floor pit or above ground basement. The in-floor pit is available in various
configurations/sizes that require concrete preparation. The above ground basement comes with full grating
& ramps and sits on your existing floor.
The temperature of the air is electronically
controlled with the aid of the Spray-Cure Control Panel. Pressurized air throughout the booth keeps a
clean spraying environment for the cleanest of paint jobs. After the completion of spray painting, simply
press the 'CURE' button to switch the system into the 'CURE' mode. The AMU now heats the booth to a high temperature
to cure the vehicle, while the airflow slows down to keep the heat in the booth cabin longer.
